1. Information We Collect

To issue digital event passes and confirm transactions, Ticket Adda collects:

• Contact Information: Full name, mobile phone number, and email address provided during booking or account creation.
• Pass Attendee Data: Names of primary and secondary attendees assigned to couple, VIP, or group passes.
• Transaction Data: Booking reference numbers, ticket tier purchased, total amount paid, and gateway transaction IDs (via Cashfree).
• Gate Admission Data: Timestamps and turnstile gate identifiers recorded when your pass is checked in at event gates.
• Device & Technical Logs: IP addresses, browser user agent, and security cookies used strictly for rate-limiting and preventing fraudulent bots.

2. How Your Information Is Used

Your personal data is used solely for the following legitimate purposes:

• Pass Delivery: Generating your unique HMAC-SHA256 digital entry pass and dispatching it via Email and WhatsApp.
• Gate Verification: Enabling event security and gate staff to verify your booking at the venue turnstiles.
• Customer Support: Assisting you with booking inquiries, ticket re-issuances, or venue directions via WhatsApp or email.
• Security & Fraud Prevention: Detecting duplicate ticket scans, preventing scalping, and securing financial transactions.

3. Payment Security & Banking Details

All online financial payments on Ticket Adda are processed directly through Cashfree Payments, a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment aggregator certified by the Reserve Bank of India. Ticket Adda does NOT store, handle, or have access to your full debit/credit card numbers, CVVs, net-banking passwords, or UPI MPINs. All communication occurs over secure 256-bit TLS encryption.

4. WhatsApp & Email Communications

When you purchase a ticket, you consent to receive transactional messages related to your booking. These include: booking receipts, digital QR passes, venue timing updates, and security check-in codes. We do not sell your mobile number or email address to third-party telemarketers.

5. Sharing with Verified Event Organizers

Ticket Adda shares relevant attendee names, pass tier categories, and emergency contact details with the verified organizer of the specific event you booked. This is strictly necessary for crowd safety, venue capacity management, and issuing physical wristbands at the gates. Organizers are contractually bound to use this data solely for event coordination.

6. Data Retention & User Rights

We retain transactional booking records for the period required by Indian taxation and audit regulations (GST and corporate filing laws). You have the right to review your personal profile, request corrections, or request deletion of unneeded marketing records by contacting our Privacy Officer.
